DIAMOND BRITE VS.
ARMOR COLOR STONE

The Last Swimming Pool Resurfacing You Will Ever Need.

History - In 1996 the pool industry finally recognized that there was a major problem with Marcite Plaster finishes for pool interiors. Several new products were introduced to address this problem such as 3M Colorquartz, Pebble Tec and Diamond Brite. Unfortunately, all these products were inserted in marcite plaster and within 7 to 10 years many of these installations failed because the plaster would break down and could not hold the colorquartz in place.

In response we developed ArmorKote, a applicator/contractor applied version of the UltraGuard Product. The Armor Colored stones are encapsulated in our industrial 2-part epoxy, which creates a structural membrane that is extremely durable. If the prep work is completed correctly, you will not experience product delamination due to its remarkable adhesion to the substrate material. With Armor Color Stones embedded in the ArmorKote coating system, the surface will remain free of black algae and you will not experience pop outs and/or holes.

ArmorKote can be applied with the Armor Color Stone and is the backbone to providing a very nice textured resurface finish for the interior of your pool.

Bottom line – the ArmorKote pool resurfacing system with Armor Color Stone provides superior longevity and aesthetics to other similar of products and when installed correctly with provide many years of longevity.
